LIVING GRACE – We are enjoying the discovery of God’s Grace in our lives in Worship this month. Praise God for His Indescribable Gift!

THANKSGIVING OFFERING – For the next two Sundays we will be receiving the Thanksgiving offering because God has been so good to us, we intentionally choose to help spread the gospel around the world through this offering. This is a great time to give extra for missions or to give your faith promise pledge.

HANGING OF THE GREEN – Please invite others to this meaningful worship service Sunday, November 28th at 6:00 pm as we enter the Christmas season. This worship experience helps us understand the meaning of why we decorate and prepare our hearts for the celebration of His coming. We will have a fellowship following the service with sandwiches, hot drinks and a “Cookie Reception”! Sandwiches and drinks are provided. Please bring three dozen of your favorite homemade Christmas cookies to share at this reception.

THE MISSIONARIES ARE COMING, THE MISSIONARIES ARE COMING – Missionaries Ben & Hannah Ponder will be with us again December 5th 10:45 am, to share about their ministry in Serbia. Grandma Sue is not the only one excited about their arrival. Pray as they witness through deputation in the next few months.

CHURCH BOARD CHRISTMAS DINNER – Our church board and families are invited to a “Musical Christmas” on Thursday, December 9th at 6:30 pm. Thank you Church Board, for your service and leadership to the Church. Come enjoy yourself for an evening of food, family, fellowship & music!

CHRISTMAS LIGHT TOUR – We are excited to invite our Seniors on a Christmas Light tour to Natchitoches, La on Friday, December 10th. We will be returning Saturday, December the 11th. Please see Shirley McLeroy to reserve your spot. There will be great food, fellowship, and beautiful Christmas decorations to enjoy!

NORTHern MUG CLUB – Martin’s Chapel has joined the NORTHern Mug Club! For less than the cost of a mug of coffee a day, we as a church will be supporting Rob & Cindy North as they serve on the mission field of Africa Nazarene University. Our Mission department has chosen our Sunday Evening Offering once a month during Mission Worship to support these missionaries to ANU. Due to extenuating circumstances with the government of Kenya and COVID, the North’s funding as missionaries has ended. Our $55 a month will keep these servants on the field.

COVID PROTOCOL – With a second wave of Covid hitting our area hard we want to make sure that our people are safe. Please note the following recommendations from the CDC as well as our local protocol:
If you are feeling sick and running a fever, please stay home. If you suspect a family member or work associate has Covid please quarantine yourself as well.
As you enter the church, Hand Sanitizer and masks are available for you to use at your discretion. Please use discretion with hugging and sanitize your hands after hand shaking.

WEDNESDAY IN THE WORD – With school back in session our Children’s & Youth Wednesday program is in full swing. Discipleship is happening on Wednesday nights, do not miss out! Our Holiness Study with Dr. Roberson at 5:00 pm and Proverbs Dialogue “Living Like King’s Kids”, with Pastor David at 6:15 pm provides a midweek Bible study for all ages. This Fall keep your spiritual batteries charged!
