Support Tom McCauley

Tom has stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma in his lower jaw. He is expected to undergo approximately 22 total hours of surgeries starting on July 21st in Fort Worth, Texas.  However, before surgery can begin, Tom needs $19,000 for out-of-pocket medical expenses.

The first surgeries will remove his entire bottom jaw, the placement of a trach to assist in breathing and a feeding tube for nutrition. They will replace the lower jaw with a splint as they take bone from his leg to form a new jaw.

A few days later, the next round of surgeries start the process of jaw reconstruction, with special implants as well as grafting skin and blood vessels removed from his arms.

Tom’s road to recovery will be a long journey, starting with a hospital stay for at least 10 days, followed by Chemotherapy and Radiation approximately six weeks later.

Tom and Laurie are long time members of the Troup/Concord community. He has served as a Board Member and facility maintenance for Martin’s Chapel.  Tom has owned his own construction business and is currently working at Scottsville Camp & Conference Center, where he heads up the maintenance department. He is a faithful servant of Jesus and loves serving others.

You can make your tax-deductible donations at or download the Martin’s Chapel app. Check can be made to Martin’s Chapel, note “Tom McCauley Fund”.

We appreciate any donation to help with Tom’s surgery expenses.
